Rôles et Responsabilités

Responsable de gérer et développer une équipe d’ingénieurs et de professionnel en développement des affaires dans le contexte de soumission d’opportunité de projet d’infrastructure de transport.
Responsable du développement, la gestion et la coordination d’effort de croissance du secteur du transport du point de vue Exploitation et Entretien.
Responsable de gérer le aspects légaux, financiers, d’offre technique, d’ingénierie, de gestion des risques, estimation des coûts et commerciaux pour des soumissions complexes sur les marchés Nord-Américains, Royaume-Unis et Australiens pour des opportunités de types P3 ou Services.
Fournir l’expertise aux projets et aux soumissions au sujets des contrats commerciaux, structures complexes contractuel entre partenaires, gestion des risques, gestion des actifs et l’intégration des systèmes d’un réseau de transport.
Responsable de participer aux efforts de mise en marché et de réseautage tels que les campagnes de commandites, salons commerciaux, conférences et activités corporatives.
Responsable du développement de l’approche de la gestion de risque pour dé-risquer les projets majeurs
Développer le matériel pour répondre aux demandes d’intérêt, à l’équipe exécutive de gestion, aux conseillers techniques des prêteurs et aux agences de crédit.
Établir et entretenir des relations d’affaires avec des clients et partenaires d’affaires
Réviser et approuver des offres techniques, financières et commerciales pour l’entretien et l’exploitation d’infrastructure de transport.
Identifier, documenter et prioritiser les opportunités d’affaire à l’horizon et initier les relations avec les clients potentiels.
Développer les co-entreprises ainsi que les documents contractuels de partenariat (MOU, accord d’association).
Gérer la transition d’une opportunité gagnée vers l’équipe qui livrera le projet.
Mener la préparation être l’interface principal avec le client et participer activement aux réunions de tous types avec les clients (présentation générale, réunion confidentielle commerciale, revue de design)
S’assurer d’être certifié en tout temps au code de conduite de SNC-Lavalin

Compétences recherchées

Baccalauréat en ingénierie ou discipline pertinente
Un minimum de 10 ans d’expérience combiné en développement des affaires ou exécution de projet dans le domaine du transport incluant l’entretien et l’exploitation
Forte habilité à communiquer verbalement et par écris et à présenter.
Profonde compréhension du développement d’un contrat
Habilité de comprendre, d’analyser et d’appliquer les résultats provenant des données complexes
Capacité à résoudre des problèmes complexes et à les traduire à des solutions gagnantes
Expérience à travailler avec des compagnies d’ingénierie et de construction
Forte capacité d’analyse et motivé par les opportunités d’apprentissage
Habilité de travailler indépendamment avec un minimum de supervision, de s’ajuster aux changements de priorités. Pouvoir gérer la pression et avoir le sens de l’initiative lorsqu’approprié.
Expérience à éduquer er gérer une équipe sur un gros projet d’infrastructure
Expérience à gérer une petite entreprise ou en démarrer une est un considéré comme pertinent

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Responsible for developing, managing and mentoring a team of Engineers and Business Development Professionals in the pursuit of transformational transportation infrastructure projects.
Responsible for the development, administration, and coordination of growth efforts in the Transportation sector with a focus on operations and maintenance.
Responsible for managing legal, financial, proposal, engineering, estimating and commercial teams in the pursuit of complex bids throughout North America and UK including P3's and Service Contracts.
Providing bid and project delivery subject matter expertise in Commercial Contracts, Complex Procurements, Risk Management, Asset Management and Systems Integration.
Responsible for providing strategic direction of marketing activities including advertising campaigns, trades shows, conferences and corporate branding activities.
Responsible for the development of risk management plans and de-risk plans for major projects.
Providing project overviews, white papers and presentations for Executive Management, Lender Technical Advisers, Ratings Agencies and client meetings.
Establishing and maintaining critical business relationships with clients and partners.
Auditing and reviewing complex transportation proposal submissions.
Responsible for identifying, evaluating and capturing new business opportunities and establishing relationships with potential customers.
Responsible for development of joint ventures, teaming agreements and MOU’s.
Assists in transition from project pursuit to project implementation.
Prepare, attend, and actively participate in client presentations, commercially confidential meetings, design presentation meetings, and any necessary project related and client interface meetings.
Ensure that the companies Code of Ethics, Sustainability Objectives and Business Conduct are adhered to at the highest level at all times.

What will you contribute?

Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or systems engineering or a relevant discipline is required.
Minimum 10 years' combined technical and business development in transportation project delivery including operations and maintenance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with advanced presentation skills.
Detailed understanding of contract development work with the ability to understand, analyze and apply complex data.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability as a business developer winning work.
Project experience within an EPC/EPCM company.
Strong Analytical skills and motivated by learning opportunities.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high pressure situations and take initiative where appropriate.
Experience mentoring and managing a team on a large infrastructure project.
Experience managing a startup or starting a business is considered an asset.
Experience working in Alliances, Delivery Partner and Integrated Project Delivery models considered an asset.
